Extensive earthquake repairs were required to this New Brighton family home, including replacing a significant amount of the ground floor slab and replacing the cladding entirely, giving an opportunity to the homeowners to bring their “beach house” aspirations to life.

The existing red brick and fibre cement cladding was replaced with block and larch timber giving a strong connection to the surroundings.
